Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die gouge in the field at the back of the lower shoulder NW of VDB running NW. Short die gouges in the field; lower right of the Y of LIBERTY, second centered to the left of the Y of LIBERTY and a third die gouge upper left of the Y of LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: All Stage A markers are polished away. Die scratch runs NE from the upper right edge of the Y of LIBERTY ending at the back of the neck. Long die scratch runs from the left of IN ending to the right of GOD. Reverse Stage A: Die crack running NE from the rim turning north along the left edge of the left wheat stalk turning NE along the top left edge ending in the field below the E of E PLURIBUS. Die chip inside the U of UNITED. N/S die scratch between the U and N of UNITED. Reverse Stage B: Second Reverse. Die crack on lower left wheat stalk running north from the bottom left wheat grain ending on the bottom edge of the 4th wheat grain. Obverse Stage A:
