Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratch runs SW from the lower loop to the bust. Crisscrossing die scratches creating multiple X markers to the left of the mint mark. Two die scratches running SE from the right side of the five of date form a V under the 0 of date. Thick die gouge in the field runs north from above the E of LIBERTY. Arcing die gouge shows in the field at the lower back of head north of the Y of LIBERTY. Long die scratch runs SW from the left upper Y in LIBERTY ending in the field below. Die scratch running NE from the top left of the Y of LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Arching die scratch in the field below IN. Die scratch running north above the E of LIBERTY has become thinner. Obverse Stage C: Die scratch to the right of the R of TRUST. N/S die scratch to the lower right of the U of TRUST. Obverse Stage D: Die crack runs north from the upper head ending at the bottom of the W of WE. Obverse Stage E: Die crack running north from the upper head has grown wider running through the W of WE now ends at the rim. Reverse Stage A: N/S die scratches on the left wheat stalk. N/S die scratch between wheat kernels to the upper left of the U of UNITED. Short N/S die scratch left of upper E of E PLURIBUS. Two N/S die scratches inside the E of ONE. N/S die scratch inside the O of ONE. NE/SW die scratch to the left of the E of CENT. NE/SW die scratch inside the lower E of CENT. N/S die scratches inside the lower and upper N of CENT. Reverse Stage B: Die scratches form multiple X markers above the N of ONE. NW/SE die scratches running from the top of the N of ONE ending between and below UR of PLURIBUS. Long NW/SE die scratch starting on the bottom edge of the O in OF ending on the upper edge of the left wheat stem. Die scratch running E/W on end of right wheat stem. Reverse Stage C: N/S die scratches inside the O in OF. Reverse Stage D: Diagonal die scratches inside the lower right of the O of ONE. Die scratch inside the U of PLURIBUS. Die scratch runs NE from the M of AMERICA ending above the I of AMERICA. Die scratch runs NE through the TA of STATES. Reverse Stage E: Die scratch running through TA of STATES is weak.
