Description
1946-S WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse on the 1946-S Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. UNITED and ONE DIME have a very minor spread toward the center. The obverse is Type I, and Wexler records no significant markers on it. The reverse has a Trumpet Tail mint mark, and Wexler notes a WSW/ENE marker under ITE in UNITED without naming its kind. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Its comments say it was formerly WDDR-028 and was renumbered when the doubled working hub WWHR-001 was found and left large gaps in the listings.
