The rotational component on ONE DIME indicates the hub twisted slightly during the impression, producing spread that follows an arc rather than a linear direction. Additional designations include ODV-001 (Obverse Design Variety) and MMS-001, the "Trumpet Tail" mintmark style, which refers to a distinctive flared tail on the S mintmark that resembles the bell of a trumpet.
