Description
1946-D WDDO-014 is a doubled die obverse on the 1946-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class II spread toward the center shows on LIBERTY and on the profile. The obverse is Type I, and a short scratch runs west from just below the nose. The reverse is a doubled die as well; Wexler's doubled die files carry it as 1946-D WDDR-001. It has a Class II spread toward the center on ONE DIME, and a small gouge lies inside the upper part of the E in ONE. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
