Description
1946-D WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1946-D Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class V clockwise (CW) spread from a pivot near 12:00 is strongest on the date. The obverse is Type I. A N/S scratch lies between the B and E of LIBERTY, and there is a gouge between the E and R. On the reverse, E/W scratches cross the M in DIME, running between its left and center openings. Joe Feld submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
