Error
Description
A spread to the west from a tilted hub can be found on STATES OF AMERICA, the branch ends, the right branch and lower right leaves, DOLLAR, and the letters of EPU with the strongest spread on the letters farthest to the right. Die Markers: Obverse: Four parallel die scratches run from north to south above the OD in GOD. A vertical die scratch can be found to the left of Washington’s lips. Two short, strong die gouges run west from the eyelid. Numerous other die scratches can be found on the obverse. Reverse: The reverse has a strong repunched mint mark listed as 1945-S 25¢ WRPM-004. It is a nice S/S North. A strong die scratch runs south from the top right of the E in STATES. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse. Obverse:
