1945-S Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002

Description

A CW spread from a pivot at about 2:00 shows on QUARTER DOLLAR and the lower wreath details north of QUARTER. Die Markers: Obverse: SW/NE die scratches can be found to the left of the nose. Die scratches run south from IN and the TR in TRUST. Reverse: Trumpet Tail S mint mark. A N/S die scratch can be found to the left of the eagle’s head and neck. Nearly vertical die scratches can be found to the left of the mint mark. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse.
