1945-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A CCW spread from a pivot at about 8:00 shows on LIBERTY, the lower queue, the designer’s initials, and the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A very strong die scratch runs ESE from the lower right of the 9 in the date to the rim below the 4. A die crack with small die chips runs NW/SE through the hair below the RT in LIBERTY. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: A thin curving die scratch runs from the lower A to the second T in STATES. Obverse:
