Description

D/D/D South and Tilted (Rotated)Die Markers: Obverse: N/S die crack at the back of the head. Three short die scratches extend SW from the tip of the nose. Reverse: Extremely minor Class II doubling on the last A in AMERICA. Die crack running from right base to rim. Weak die crack extends from the rim and runs through the upper left serif of the last U in PLURIBUS towards the mintmark. Two die gouges inside the upper opening of the U in UNITED. Die gouge touches the top of the E in STATES. Die gouge inside the C in CENTS.Submitted by: Louis A. Reverse: Die gouge under left side of E in E PLURIBUS. Die crack along left lower base. Die crack running from left base to rim. Die crack upper left Monticello to rim. Die crack running north through the building to the top of the dome. Die cracks on upper top left and right side of building.
