This variety was discovered on the 1943 (S) Jefferson Nickel - Wartime Silver Alloy, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: UVC-139 DMR-006 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Reverse and Obverse are MDS Stage C: Die crack from Right dome South between pillar # 3 and # 4 – LDS Die crack along lower bust – LDS. S/S East. I need to see a specimen for new color digital photos.
