1941 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002

Description

Extreme Class VI extra thickness shows on QUARTER DOLLAR, USA, EPU, the outer edges of the wings, the eagle’s head, and the lower leaves and branches. Die Markers: Obverse: A short die gouge runs SW from the top of the B in LIBERTY into the upper loop of the B. Reverse: A short die scratch runs east from just below the center of the first S in STATES.
