Description
D/D/D North and Northeast Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratch north from the D of GOD to the rim. Vertical die scratch inside the D of GOD closer to the right side. Die scratch south from the bottom center of the D of GOD to the head. Heavy N/S die scratches from the 19 of the date and through the vest. One S by E and two south die scratches from the 3 of the date into the field. Strong secondary mintmark that shows the NE secondary. Obverse Stage B: Die scratches are weaker. Only one south die scratch from both the 9 and 3 of the date is present. Secondary NE mintmark inside the primary mintmark is very weak. Obverse Stage C: Only the secondary mintmark to the north is present. The die scratch from the D in GOD to the rim is weak. All remaining die scratches gone. Reverse Stage A: Strong scratch from the right dot between PLURIBUS and UNUM to the E of ONE. NNW/SSE die scratch through the C in AMERICA. Reverse Stage B: Scratch from the right dot is weaker. Scratch at the C in AMERICA still present. Reverse Stage C: Scratch from the dot abraded away. Scratch through the C in AMERICA still present but weak. Obverse Stage A:
