Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1925 $1 WDDO-001. Close doubling shows on the designer’s initials and on the 5 in the date. A light die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: Heavy NE/SW die scratches run through USA and EPU. A heavy diagonal die gouge runs from the top right of the first U in PLURIBUS to the O in ONE.
