Description

=1900-P VAM-8 Doubled 1, Slanted Date= Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974. Revised 2010. 8 (revised) III2 7 - C3a (Doubled 1, Slanted Date) (189) Obverse III2 7 - 1 doubled below upper crossbar and on fully struck specimens slightly below lower crossbar and on lower left side of vertical shaft. Slightly slanted date with 1 closest to the rim and date at left edge of normal lateral position. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # It's possible that a weak strike at the date will show the upper crossbar of the 1 being very thick rather than doubled. # It appears all of these are either 1900-P VAM-8A or 1900-P VAM-8B.
