=1900-P VAM-12 Very Near Doubled Date= Discovered by Bill Deterline, December 1977. 12 III2 10 - C3a (Doubled Date) Obverse III2 10 - Date set much further left than normal. All digits doubled strongly on top. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # All three of the examples I have examined were something else. My example (LVA attributed)(old ANACS blue holder - AOH) turned out to be a 1900-P VAM-5B -as did one of the others. My example demonstrated significant strike doubling on the date to help complicate things. The third example was not much closer. Brent
