Error
Description
This 1886 Morgan Dollar variety, VAM-8, is listed by VAMWorld as "Far Date, High 6" (8 III2 8 - C3a), discovered by Edwin Miller in January 1970. The date is set farther right than normal and the closed 6 sits slightly high. The ear is doubled on the inside right and at the bottom of the lobe, and the reverse shows minor hub doubling at the back of the upper arrowhead, slighter on the middle one. A gouge may appear in the middle of the I in LIBERTY, and the only identified crack is a weak one along the last two right stars and the M of UNUM. Cataloged by VAMWorld.
