Description
1884-O VAM-16B Very Far Date, Polished Face Discovery 2013 16B III2 5 - C3a (Very Far Date, Polished Face) (?) Obverse III2 5 - Date at left side of very far date lateral position. Fine polishing lines all over Liberty head face in attempt to remove rust pitting. Die marker - Fine curved die scratch in front of eye. Reverse C3a - Very slight die doubling on bottom serifs of some letters in STATES AMERICA. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: 1884-O VAM-16, 1884-O VAM-16A, & 1884-O VAM-16B share neither obverse or reverse dies. Left wreath has a fair bit of doubling of the leaves.
