Description
1882-O VAM-28 Doubled Date and Stars Discovered by Louis Davis, February 1979. 28(revised) III2 19 - C3e (Doubled Date and Stars) (?) Obverse III2 19- Entire date is doubled. Slightly doubled 18 at very bottom and 1 below upper crossbar. Doubled 8 at left outside of upper loop and 2 at right outside of upper loop. All left and right stars and tops of E PLUR doubled towards rim and right lower serif of M in UNUM doubled at top. Die Marker- Vertical die scratches inside and at bottom of ear. Reverse C3eā II O mint mark tilted left. Some have a heavy horizontal die scratch at bottom of opening. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments:
