=1881-O VAM-19 Doubled 1-1 & Profile= right|frame|Emission sequence involving VAM 19 Discovered by Martin Field, September 1980. Revised 2011. 19(revised) III2 11 · C3a (Doubled 1-1 & Profile) (176) Obverse III2 11– Doubled 1-1 in date. Left 1 strongly doubled below upper crossbar. Right 1 faintly double below upper crossbar. Left 8 has short die chip at top left inside of upper loop. Slightly doubled profile from hair down to chin, top of Phrygian cap and bottom edge of hair. Very slightly doubled/quadrupled right stars. Reverse C3a - Patch of random die scratches below God. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 1881-O VAM-24.2, 1881-O VAM-52, 1881-O VAM-66, 1881-O VAM-1, 1881-O VAM-19, 1881-O VAM-68 Comments: # Scratches below God are not seen with a doubled profile obverse showing the doubling on the 1s, but they are seen on a different doubled profile obverse without doubled 1s and with spikes in both 8s. # Five other obverses are seen with the 1881-O VAM-1 reverse that shows the pitting at the wing-neck gap. # The scratches around God are not on all examples. # The exact same obverse die was used to produce 1881-O VAM-18 & 1881-O VAM-19.
