1881-O VAM-1B2 Die Edge Gouge DOL, Clashed Obverse n & st Discovered by Larry Briggs, April 2000 Re-classified as 1B2 2014 VAMHusker Submittal 1B2 III 2 1- C3a ( Die Edge Gouge DOL, Clashed Obverse n & st) (176) Obverse III2 10 - Clashed die with double diagonal clash line at neck with partial incuse n of In from reverse next to Liberty head neck and partial incuse of st of Trust showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Reverse C3a - Die edge gouge at DOL of VAMs 18 & 43 shows but denticle impressions above it mostly worn away. Notes: Former 1881-O VAM-18B. Exact same reverse die was used to produce 1881-O VAM-1B1, 1881-O VAM-1B2, 1881-O VAM-18, 1881-O VAM-43 & 1881-O VAM-49.
