=1879-S VAM-16 Doubled 9= Discovered by Ted Eiben, June 1972. 16 III2 3 ∙ C3a (Doubled 9) (182) Obverse III2 3 – 9 in date doubled on left side. On some specimens 8 has a spike of metal on left side between loops. Open 9 variety.
