A series of undated medals celebrating Washington with the legend SUCCESS TO THE UNITED STATES on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. Believed to be of British manufacture, these medals come in two sizes (large ~34mm and small ~28mm) with plain or reeded edges, in copper or with a silvered finish. The seven varieties represent the combinations of these three variables. Success Medals are popular with collectors for their patriotic sentiment and manageable series size.
