Description

An undated Washington "Success" medal of the large size (approximately 34mm) with a plain edge. The obverse features a bust of Washington with the legend SUCCESS TO THE UNITED STATES. The reverse shows a heraldic eagle. These medals were struck in England to celebrate Washington and the success of the American republic. The large size provides a more imposing presentation.
