About This Series

Charles Barber's Liberty Head design, the largest denomination in the Barber series. The 1892-O Micro O and 1892-S are first-year key dates. Many dates from the San Francisco and New Orleans mints had low mintages, making the series challenging to complete in high grades. The coin's large size made it important in turn-of-the-century commerce.
