Description
2023-P JI WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 2023-P Jovita Idar quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. Strong doubling to the south shows on the eyelid. Obverse markers: many chips on the nose tip, SW of the eye, on the cheek and along the jawline; numerous small gouges under TRUST; and a gouge between the bases of the T and Y in LIBERTY. On the reverse, a gouge sits on Idar's cheekbone, a gouge lies at the rim over her head, several gouges lie behind her head, and several more are in the field over QUARTER.
