The other inscriptions are QUARTER DOLLAR, E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Texas-born journalist, teacher, and civil rights activist who advocated for Mexican Americans and founded the White Cross, providing aid during the Mexican Revolution. Bessie Coleman, Edith Kanaka'ole, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jovita Idar, and Maria Tallchief honored. Coleman was the first African American and Native American woman to hold a pilot's license.
