Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY. The upper right of the Y in LIBERTY is considerably thicker than the upper left of the Y. Notching shows on the lower left corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY. Slight extra thickness shows on the date. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A possible pre-die chip depression or die chip can be seen on the lower Y in LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: A small die chip can be found on the lower Y in LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: Three die chips can be found on the top left of the shield north of the PLU in PLURIBUS. A small die gouge can be found below the R in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still visible. A new die chip can be seen to the right of the initial three die chips on the shield north of the PLU in PLURIBUS. Submitted By: Stage A: James D. Wright, Stage B: Christopher A. While the die cracks are similar, close comparison should show them to be different working dies. The die crack for WDDO-001 runs WNW/ESE above the L in PLURIBUS and then turns and runs WSW/ENE above the UR in PLURIBUS. The die crack for WDDO-002 runs WSW/ENE above the PLU in PLURIBUS.
