Error
Description
Moderate extra thickness shows on LIBERTY and the date. The upper left of the Y in LIBERTY is considerably thicker than the upper right of the Y. Notching shows on the lower left corners of the ERTY in LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: A die crack runs through the top left of the shield north of the PLUR in PLURIBUS. Submitted By: James Wilkins Cross References: None known Comments: WDDO-002 has a similar die crack on the upper left of the shield to WDDO-001. While the die cracks are similar, close comparison should show them to be different working dies. The die crack for WDDO-001 runs WNW/ESE above the L in PLURIBUS and then turns and runs WSW/ENE above the UR in PLURIBUS. The die crack for WDDO-002 runs WSW/ENE above the PLU in PLURIBUS. Obverse: None significant. Reverse: A die crack runs through the top left of the shield north of the PLUR in PLURIBUS.
