Description
2018 WDDO-010 is a doubled die obverse on the 2018 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows sloped extra thickness; the date shows no doubling. Obverse markers: a scratch within the upper part of the G in GOD; a scratch along the rim under the bust's right side; and small chips well out in the field ahead of the nose and mouth. On the reverse, a scratch runs from the scroll's right side to a point over the L of LB, and a chip sits within the lower part of the D in UNITED. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
