Description
Very minor doubling shows on the bottom of Sergeant William Jasper’s coat. Die Markers: Obverse: Thin die crack through the designer's initials JF with die chips on the J and right of F. Die gouge inside the Q in QUARTER. Die gouge inside the upper opening of the N in IN. Die gouge below the right side of the N in IN. Weak die scratch from the rim through the M in AMERICA. Reverse: Parallel die cracks along the flagpole and the left side of the flag with a die chip at the shoulder. Die crack with numerous die chips on the top of Jasper's left arm. Die crack from the top of the hat to the outer ring. Large die gouge just below Jasper's right hand.
