Description
Doubling shows on the fringe of the frontiersman’s coat just to the left of the upper right arm.Die Markers: Obverse: NE/SW Feeder finger scrapes below the ear and at the back of the neck. Weak die trails extend N from IGWT. Short die scratch extends NW from the top left serif of the T in LIBERTY. Die gouge touches the upper left side of the last R in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the last T in STATES. Die gouge right of the top of the N in IN. Reverse: NW/SE feeder finger scrapes in the field left of the doubled sleeve and at the frontiersman's left elbow. Strong NW/SE die scratch through the ST in WEST to the hill in the background. Die gouge right of the bottom of the S in WEST.Submitted By: George W.
