Description

2016-P KY WDDR-003 is a doubled die reverse on the 2016-P Cumberland Gap National Historical Park quarter (Kentucky) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. Under the fringe of the frontiersman's coat, where his upper right arm meets the coat, there is a small extra piece of fringe. On the obverse, a short vertical gouge lies in the upper left of AMERICA's M, and a small gouge sits right of the bottom of IN's N. On the reverse, a small die chip sits on the bottom of THE's T. Alfonso Lopez submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
