The fringe on the frontiersman’s coat is doubled to the left of the upper right arm.Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Thin WNW/ESE die scratch in the lower opening of the E in AMERICA. Obverse Stage B: A die crack with die chips on each end formed above and to the right of the designer’s initials. Reverse Stage A: NE/SW die scratch connects the D in DOORWAY to the T in TO. Die gouge touches the left side of the T in WEST.
