Description
2016-P KY WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse on the 2016-P Cumberland Gap National Historical Park quarter (Kentucky) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. Under the fringe of the coat, the frontiersman's right arm shows doubling along its upper left side. On the obverse, a scratch runs ESE off the lower right of the P mint mark. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) lies to the left of the lips of the frontiersman, and a small gouge sits between the lower parts of the T and O in TO. Sandy Peters submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
