Description
Doubling shows below the right end of the upper grass strip between the great egret and the great blue heron. Die Markers: Obverse: A die chip can be found inside the lower J of the designer’s initials with cracks extending E and W across the base of the bust. Small die gouge right of the top of the A in QUARTER. Small die gouge right of the Y in LIBERTY. Small die gouge inside the U in UNITED. Reverse: Two die chips on the beak below the heron's eye. Die gouge above the horizon left of the neck. Two die gouges between the K in HOOK and the head feathers.
