Description
Strong doubling shows below the right end of the upper grass strip between the great egret and the great blue heron. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: Die gouge on the base of the bust above the left side of the E in QUARTER. Gouge may or may not be present in earlier stages. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Two die chips on the heron's beak and another below its eye. Die gouge above the lower grass strip between the egret and heron.
