Description
2014P-1DER-003T has trails running at 270°, due west, toward the left rim, from the LB initials and the NE of ONE; TrailDies also marks lines that cross over the NE of ONE. The number reads 2014, P for Philadelphia, 1 meaning one cent, DER, TrailDies' design extension reverse, then file 003, and T to show trails. The coin described is at an early die state (stage A), with no markers on either side, so sideways lines across ONE are the feature to look for. Joe Koelling found it. Specialists mostly trace trails to die polishing with a rotary buff; others suggest the die moved against the hub.
