Description
2014P-1DEO-002T has trails from LIBERTY and from TRUST, running at 350°, slightly west of north. In the number, 2014P is the date and Philadelphia mint, 1 the cent, DEO the obverse design extension, 002 the file and T the type, trails. The obverse is unmarked at the middle die state, but the reverse has a crack on the shield's upper left side and another reaching into the field from the shield's apex. Trails off the ST of TRUST on 2014P-1DEO-005T point the same way, so check LIBERTY too. Joe Koelling found it. The marks are normally traced to polishing of the die with a rotary buff; a minority view holds that the die moved against the hub.

- Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – none noted.
- Reverse is MDS – a die crack is seen along the upper left shield edge. A die crack is seen entering the field from the apex of the shield.
