2013 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006

Description

2013 WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The designer's initials LB and JFM show light extra thickness. Obverse markers: damage at the rim over IN in the motto; a gouge (dot) right of the upper part of the G in GOD; over the upper right curve of the U in TRUST, a vertical die flow line; a light vertical crack on the forehead, above the eye; and a tiny gouge (dot) in the field under the Y of LIBERTY. Reverse markers: a small gouge above the first A of AMERICA, at its right edge; a gouge at the rim above the I and C of AMERICA, between them; a large chip with associated cracks on the shield's upper left edge, over the L and U of PLURIBUS; and a series of cracks on the upper right and lower left edges of the T in CENT. David Curfman submitted the variety. CRDieVarieties lists it as SDDR-006.
