Description

A strong spread to the south shows on the right roof.Die Markers: Obverse: Small die gouge between the D and O in DOLLAR. Die gouge touches the lower left side of the first L in DOLLAR. Die gouge right of the top of the last L in DOLLAR. Die gouge touches the upper left side of the U in UNITED. Die gouge above the E in UNITED. Reverse: Die gouge right of the first SE pointing firework spray in the lower burst. Long die gouge above the doubled roof.Submitted By: George W. Obverse Stage A: A die scratch runs WSW from the chin. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die marker abraded away. Die gouge inside and above the O in DOLLAR. Die gouge on the nose. Die gouge above the mintmark P. Large die gouge far left of the chin above the right side of the B in LIBERTY. Die gouge above the right side of the E in LIBERTY. Die gouge at the inner right corner of the M in AMERICA. Die gouge in the lower opening of the R in AMERICA. Die gouge inside the C in AMERICA. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Die gouge below the right tip of the flag. Die gouge above the left roof between the lower firework spray.
