Description

Strong extra thickness shows on USA, ONE CENT, LB, and the shield. The strongest spread is on the left side of the reverse. The hub movement also distorted the left most letters in EPU which are incuse in the design. Die Markers: Obverse: Two short but strong diagonal die gouges can be found at the back of the neck. A short, vertical die gouge can be found above the top left side of the 2nd T in TRUST. A pre-die crack depression runs NW through the eyebrow and into the forehead. Reverse: A short die scratch runs north from the top left of the M in AMERICA. A light die crack runs along the left side of the top of the shield. A light pre-die crack depression runs along the right side of the top of the shield. Obverse:
