Error
Description
ADC-1c-2011-02 Below illustrated is a 2011 Lincoln Shield Cent with two sided clash marks. On the obverse, one can see parts of the striped shielding in the fields, slightly near Lincoln’s mouth and on the coat collar, the shield’s edge can also be seen in front of and behind Lincoln’s portrait (this die is similar to ADC-1c-2011-01 & ADC-1c-2010-01 – with clash marks in a slightly different location). Additionally, the letters UNU of UNUM appear in front of and behind the tie and a fragment of the B on the lapel and part of P below LIBERTY. On the reverse, within the shield design, are the bottom of the nose, jaw, beard and part of the hair. Coin courtesy of James Mitchell.
