Description
The 2009 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-021 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2009 (P) Lincoln Cent - Formative Years, part of the Lincoln Bicentennial Cents 2009 series. Die markers: UVC-2653 DMR-024 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die crack with small die chip across lower Left boot – EMDS Light die crack on forehead – EMDS Stage C: Radial die crack through last A of AMERICA – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage D: LDS (unconfirmed).
