Description
The 2009 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-003 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2009 (P) Lincoln Cent - Formative Years, part of the Lincoln Bicentennial Cents 2009 series. Die markers: UVC-2617 DMR-005 Stage A: Die gouge through log East of Left boot – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Reverse is EDS Light die crack in hair and on forehead – EDS Stage C: Die chip on elbow – EMDS Obverse is EMDS Stage D: Die chip on upper Left N of ONE – MDS Die crack from mallet to rim Die break on middle Right side of the log split Obverse is MDS Stage E: LDS (unconfirmed).
