2009 (P) Lincoln Cent - Formative Years - Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001

Description

This 2009 Lincoln cent with the Formative Years reverse (young Lincoln reading on a log) is VarietyVista doubled die reverse DDR-001, cross-referenced as FS-802. It shows very strong spread as an extra index finger just south of the thumb, with an extra middle finger above the normal index finger. Reported by Tim Bartels. Die markers: UVC-2615, DMR-003. Stage A: early die state (unconfirmed). Stage B (EMDS): a strong die gouge diagonally across the book pages, a light die crack northeast from the N of ONE, light die cracks on both boots, a die crack from the bridge of the nose to the forehead (EMDS), and a die chip in the hair.
