Description
The 2009 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2009 (P) Lincoln Cent - Formative Years, part of the Lincoln Bicentennial Cents 2009 series. Die markers: UVC-2615 DMR-003 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Strong die gouge diagonally across the book pages – EMDS Light die crack Northeast from N of ONE Light die crack on both boots Die crack from bridge of nose to forehead – EMDS Die chip in hair Stage C: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage D: LDS (unconfirmed).
