2009 (D) Lincoln Cent - Early Childhood - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-030

Description

2009-D EC WDDR-030 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Early Childhood reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the upper right of log ends #6, #7 and #8. On the obverse, a light crack crosses the hair high on the back of the head from SW to NE, and a pre-die crack depression crosses the eyebrow heading NW and continues into the forehead. On the reverse, short vertical scratches lie left of the first T in STATES at its center, and a scratch heads north from the first A in AMERICA, starting at the middle of its right side. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
