Description
2009-D EC WDDR-026 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Early Childhood reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the upper right of log end #7. Wexler notes that it is very similar to WDDR-013. Obverse markers: a small gouge NW of LIBERTY's L, a small gouge in the upper part of the second zero, and a small gouge WNW of the mint mark. Reverse markers: a scratch heading north from the upper left of the first A in AMERICA; between the tops of the I and C in AMERICA, a vertical scratch; a crack crossing the cabin roof SW to NE over the chimney; and a crack through the upper right tip of the roof that continues ENE into the field. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
