Description
2009-D EC WDDR-022 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Early Childhood reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. Log end #9 shows the doubling on its left side. Obverse markers: a small gouge over the T in LIBERTY, a small gouge immediately right of the mint mark, and a crack that crosses the eyebrow toward the NW and reaches the forehead. Reverse markers: a gouge at the rim over the I in UNITED, a gouge within the A of STATES, and a short crack heading SE from the base of the M in RM (the designer's initials). Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
