Description
Doubling shows under the bottom of log end #9. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A tiny die gouge (dot) can be found between the upper I and B in LIBERTY. A tiny die gouge (dot) can be found north of the left side of the E in LIBERTY. A pre-die crack depression runs NW through the eyebrow extending as a die crack well into the forehead. Obverse Stage B: A short, vertical die gouge can be found inside the upper right W of WE. Obverse Stage C: A small die gouge can be found south of the L in LIBERTY. Reverse Stage A: Various die scratches extend towards the rim from the U, N, and E of UNITED and from almost all letters in AMERICA. Reverse Stage B: A small die gouge touches the center left side of the T in UNITED. Reverse Stage C: Most of the Stage A die scratches are gone. A die crack runs south from the rim through the upper left side of the M in AMERICA. A die crack runs south from the rim to the upper left of the I in AMERICA. Two die chips can be found on the top right corner of the cabin roof.
